Exterior Wash Logistics

Washing a vehicle is a technical process of safely lifting and removing abrasive particulate matter from delicate clear coat surfaces.

Pre-Wash Phase

Before physical contact is made, we apply a thick blanket of pH-neutral snow foam. This chemical dwells on the surface, encapsulating loose dirt, road grime, and salt. As the foam slides off the vehicle, it carries these abrasives away safely, drastically reducing the chance of instilling swirl marks during the contact wash.

Wheel & Arch Cleaning

Wheels harbor the most aggressive contamination, including heated brake dust and metallic particles. We use dedicated, non-acidic wheel cleaners paired with varying soft-bristled brushes to reach inner barrels and tire sidewalls. This process is kept entirely separate from the paint washing equipment.

Safe Contact Wash

Using the multi-bucket method, plush microfiber wash mitts are introduced to the paint in straight, overlapping lines. We ensure grit guards are utilized at the bottom of our rinse buckets to trap dirt and prevent it from being reintroduced to the washing medium.

Controlled Drying

Drying is a highly susceptible stage for inducing paint marring. We utilize forced heated air to blow water out of crevices, grilles, and mirrors, followed by ultra-plush, heavy GSM microfiber drying towels. Pat-drying techniques are prioritized over dragging.
